I switched to drinking Budweiser recently, from drinking good beer. The reason is the cost. Budweiser is cheaper. I pay less now for a 24oz. can than what I used to pay for a 12oz. bottle. Of course, the affect is the same from 24ozs. of Budweiser as from 12ozs. of, say, Brooklyn East India Pale Ale. But it's still cheaper.

And while I'm on the subject, I really hate cordless phones. The battery is always dying, so they beep constantly. And if you live with someone, chances are she never puts the phone back in its cradle, so you can never find it when it rings, or when you need to make a call. And there's always noise on the line. I don't mind when lines cross and I can hear what someone else is saying, especially if they can hear me too and I tell them to get off *my* line! But that doesn't happen often enough to justify putting up with the other problems I mentioned.

My girlfriend's cat really pisses me off. I know she's old and all (the cat), but she pukes and pisses on everything. Especially pukes. She pukes on the bed, she pukes on the kid's toys, she pukes on our clothes, she pukes on the couch, and sometimes she just pukes on the floor. If we lived near a pond, I would put her in a sack with a rock and throw her in. Alas...

I don't think web bogs will ever take the place of real bogs. Are you going to burn virtual peat? Or thatch your roof with binary code? I don't think so.
